We are looking to appoint an experienced, highly qualified Spanish Language Assistant to support our Modern Foreign Language Department. The successful candidate will be a native, or near-native Spanish speaker, educated to degree level. It is essential that they have excellent grammatical knowledge of both Spanish and English and well as experience in supporting students to achieve academic excellence.
The language assistant is required to converse with individual pupils or small assigned groups in Spanish, for conversational practice. This may be in a classroom assisting a specific teacher or in an assigned room alone.
In addition, a language assistant may be required to teach small classes of near-native speakers to challenge and stretch these students.
The closing date for the position is 9am on Monday, Friday 3rd May 2024.
